Colin Joyce Assoc. AIA NCARB
Founder & Executive Director
Colin has worked on the delivery, design, and documentation of buildings ranging across all scales and types. He has been involved in the projects spanning the United States, primarily focusing on either coast, with additional work located in Singapore and China.
Mindful of the project’s impact on the surrounding community, Colin’s designs transform the site to maximize efficiency and increase user wellbeing. He focuses on thoughtful and exciting design, specializing in Residential, Mixed-Use and Transportation projects. Colin has worked on a concept design for New York and New Jersey’s Port Authority Bus Terminal, a master plan that realizes the possibilities of the site through the blending of transportation and retail programming, and Changi Airport Terminal 5 in Singapore, an important addition to what is already one of the busiest and most celebrated international airports in the world. Heron in Tampa, Florida, and The Pinnacle at Central Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts, increase access to the waterfront, advancing each city’s resilience initiatives while improving public spaces. Colin’s contributions to these projects resulted in designs mindful of their context, taking inspiration from the site’s history to benefit current and future users.
Colin received his Master’s degree from Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, in Advanced Architectural Design, and his Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology.
